Beta 5.2.1 contains the complete 299-record EMS SkillLab library across Airway & Ventilation, Patient Assessment, Cardiac & Resuscitation, Trauma / Bleeding / Orthopedic, Medical & Pharmacology, OB / Neonatal / Pediatrics, Communication / Legal / Behavioral, and Operations / Lifting / ICS.

Beta 5.2.1 audit status: This release adds full-library consistency guardrails, scenario-quality checks, scope/protocol reminders and future topic-grouping recommendations. No medical-director approval is claimed. Clinical reviewer, clinical review date and local protocol version remain unset. This is an educational baseline, not independent authorization to practice.

Review status: Editorial/source review on September 13, 2026. Review again after a protocol/device change, new guidance or a reported issue; scheduled review target March 13, 2027.

How scope is presented

Core means the national model includes the skill, not that it is authorized in every jurisdiction. Local/Assist identifies content that may require local authorization, supervision or assistance. State law, agency credentialing, medical oversight, approved equipment and device instructions govern practice. Medication names, concentrations, doses, repeat criteria, RSI decisions, restraint, DNR/POLST, consent, reporting, triage, HazMat, emergency-vehicle and air-medical procedures must be checked against the current local policy.

Consistency and usability corrections

Combined topics remain searchable through atomic aliases, while individual competencies remain available for targeted practice and checkoff.
Changing provider, category, topic or workspace invalidates stale generated cases and clears carried-over program selections.
Apply, Analyze and Evaluate cases use different findings, decisions and reassessment cues rather than only different labels.
Advanced airway and other complex stations identify supporting competencies and equipment without hiding the anchor skill.
Communication and operations cases use scripted-role safety boundaries; actors are not used for restraint, invasive treatment or unsafe lifting.

Clinical and educational guardrails

National scope and education models are treated as curriculum baselines, not legal authorization.
Protocol-dependent medication and device details require instructor confirmation before classroom use.
High-risk procedures require approved task trainers, equipment checklists, supervision and local medical direction as applicable.
Any clinical correction should be reviewed against the current governing guidance and the agency protocol before release.
